Drips defines this project to be tested in Shanghai Jiading as China’s first commercial self-driving car service. They will use a hybrid dispatch mode with a travel distance of more than 10 kilometers. This self-driving travel service will drive in complex and realistic travel scenarios.

According to Sina’s report, Didi currently has an actual road test mileage of 300,000 kilometers in both China and the United States, with a total of 40 test vehicles. In the future, an additional 30 vehicles will be deployed in Shanghai for automatic driving and calling services. Didi is still waiting for the issuance of some licenses. They won the Shanghai government’s test permit for the autonomous driving team last Wednesday.
