Beijing’s City Rail Line 5 starts from the north of Taipingzhuang in the north and reaches Songjiazhuang in the south. I have been a regular visitor since it started operations in 2007. It used to take an hour and a half to go to work, but now it only takes up to forty minutes.
Although I am a white-collar worker, it belongs to the type of Confucian cow. I go to the earliest day and return the latest. Therefore, when I commute by city rail, I don’t have commuters during peak hours. I can always sit in a seat and listen to MP3s at ease, or read newspapers or magazines.
