Xue Manzi: I have been in Cambodia for more than four months, and there are many new changes.

First, there are more and more Chinese people coming. Everyone has more knowledge about Cambodia, especially Sihanoukville, so there are more people coming.

Second, more people in China are looking for opportunities to buy and start businesses overseas. With the economic downturn and the uncertainty of the exchange rate, many people are willing to come to Cambodia to buy houses, buy land, and invest in the industry.

Third, over the past four months, the return on investment of many investors has become more and more clear, and many people have made money. These successful cases were sent back to China, and more people came to Westport. The local government has become more and more formalized. Now the government has begun to crack down on corruption, and has cracked down on crimes and drug abuse. In particular, efforts have been made to standardize fire standards and building standards. Node Finance: During the last chat, you paid more attention to the local land market, but now your investment involves land sales, land development, hotel apartments, catering, building materials, fire protection, etc. What are the considerations behind?

Xue Manzi: As the local economy grows and developers become more standardized, the entire Westport faces escalation in consumption. From a simple shop to a complex like Xintiandi, the quality of catering is getting higher and higher, and the flavor, decoration and sanitary conditions are greatly improved. The overall design of the building, the fire protection conditions are becoming more and more complete, and the building standards are becoming more and more standardized.

So I recently invested in a fire protection company that has enabled the fire protection industry in all construction industries in Cambodia to take a big step and be more regulated and safer. I think this can have a rich return and benefit the country, so in addition to building materials, I am very concerned about the fire industry.

Node Finance: Before you revealed that you have already bought 10,000 mu of land, now continue to add Cambodia, why?

Xue Manzi: More than four months ago, we were optimistic about the value of land near the airport. At that time, we started selling for 20,000, and now the land has been upgraded to four or five hundred thousand, and most of it has been sold out. Now the development of the ground has begun, and the roads, houses, and infrastructure have all started vigorously.

Since we made the money ourselves, our investors made money, so we decided to add more. Last time we bought nearly 10,000 mu of land, this time we bought 60,000 mu of land, about 40 square kilometers. To give an example of an image, Macao has an area of ​​32.8 square kilometers. We bought more than 40 square kilometers, which is a little bigger than Macau.

This land is about 15 kilometers from the airport and can be reached by car from the airport in ten minutes. It is a treasured land with mountains and water, seascapes, virgin forests, lots of wild animals, and a very beautiful reservoir.
