According to the 2018 annual report of major listed retailers, Lianhe.com Retail Research Center specially compiled and produced the “Top 20 Executive Retail Executives’ Salary”. This time, the Lianhe.com Retail Research Center counted the salary of 251 listed retail executives in 2018 (the data are all pre-tax annual salary and do not include equity award).
Overall, the total number of 251 executives with annual salary exceeding one million has reached 626.33 million. Dai Yongge, chairman of the board of China (predecessor and business), once again topped the list with an annual salary of 42.085 million yuan. In 2017, his salary was 26.749 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 57.23%; Li Ning executive chairman Li Ning took the second place with a price of 24.238 million yuan, a year-on-year increase. 107.82%; Giordano International Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Liu Guoquan ranked third with 19.261 million yuan, an increase of 3.44%.

There are 26 senior executives on the list, accounting for 10.36%; total compensation is 59.784 million yuan, accounting for 9.55%. Compared with other formats, the executive compensation of supermarket listed companies is generally low. The highest middle-aged salary of 26 senior executives is Li Wenhai (6 million yuan), CEO of CP Lotus. In fact, in the statistical process, many supermarket listed companies (especially A-shares) executives have not counted because their annual salary has not exceeded one million.
There are 68 executives on the list, accounting for 27.09%; total compensation is 17.29 million, accounting for 27.62%. Among them, there are two executives with an annual salary of over 10 million, Li Ning ranked second in the general list with 24.238 million yuan, and Giordano International Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Liu Guoquan ranked third in the general list with 19.621 million yuan.
According to the financial report, Senma apparel, Li Ning, Meibang apparel, Shanshan shares, Youngor and other apparel head enterprises have relatively good performance in revenue and net profit. The improvement of the company’s performance is also reflected in the salary of its executives. During the reporting period, Li Ning’s salary increased by 12.575 million yuan compared with 2017, a year-on-year increase of 107.82%.
In addition, 52 senior executives in e-commerce, pharmacies, jewellery and snack foods were on the list, accounting for 20.72%; total compensation was 9.787 million yuan, accounting for 15.7 percent.
