Changan Ford, which strengthens the local layout, has promised to accelerate the update of its products.
On November 22nd, Changan Ford officially released the new SUV model Ford Escape at the Guangzhou Auto Show. According to Changan Ford officially, Ford Ruiji will be equipped with 1.5T EcoBoost engine and 2.0T EcoBoost engine, which will be December 19th. Officially listed in Hangzhou.
This is the first new model launched by Ford after the implementation of the Acceleration Program.
Since 2019, Changan Ford has significantly accelerated the localization of the Chinese market. In April, Ford China released the “Ford China 2.0” strategy, proposing to launch more than 30 new Ford and Lincoln brand models for Chinese consumers in the next three years.
After September, Changan Ford announced the “acceleration plan” for the Chinese market. Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. President Chen Anning announced that it will speed up the product update in the Chinese market, from 2019 to 2021. At the end of the year, at least 18 new products were launched in the Chinese market, including five new energy products.
At present, Ford’s product lineup in China includes Fox Active, Wing Bo, Consular, Wing Tiger, Pathfinder, Sharp and Explorer. Sharp will further enrich Ford’s SUV product matrix.
According to Ford’s official 2020 new product plan, in addition to the sharp appearance of the Guangzhou Auto Show, Ford will start production of Lincoln Corsair at the end of the year, and officially made road explorers in 2020.
In addition to the new models, Ford also exhibited the SYNC+Smart Travel Infotainment System and the Co-Pilot 360TM Driving Assistance System at the Guangzhou Auto Show. According to the official introduction, the ACC Co-Pilot360TM intelligent driving assistance system ACC full-speed adaptive cruise + LC intelligent pilot assist system, APA2 one-button parking assist and other functions have reached the L2 level of automatic driving standards.
