According to Yu Chengdong, the Kirin 9000 chip on the Mate40 series is twice as fast as other manufacturers in 5G uplink speed.
In terms of functions, the Mate40 series has ultra-wide-angle shooting, 3D face unlocking, and AI airborne control. Unlike the iPhone 12 which only supports face recognition, the Mate40 series supports dual face and fingerprint recognition, which makes unlocking and payment more convenient, and the user experience is slightly better. At this press conference, Huawei also launched a newly upgraded Huawei terminal Cloud services and wireless headsets, smart watches, smart speakers, smart glasses and other products.
According to Yu Chengdong, Huawei currently has 1 billion devices connected to consumer terminals, of which 7 are mobile phones, and Huawei’s wearable device market share ranks first in the world. According to Huawei’s latest performance, in the first three quarters of 2020, Huawei’s sales revenue reached 671.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%. At present, the first pre-sales of Huawei Mate40 Pro and Mate40 Pro+ have been exhausted on JD.com. Huawei’s official website and Tmall flagship store also announced the second wave of pre-sales today.
