In addition to the increase in sales, Yu Jun also strongly advocated that Guangzhou Automobile passenger cars “go to the sea”, that is, to enter the overseas market, and to create an overseas strategy of Guangzhou Automobile Chuanqi – setting up three R&D centers in the United States to promote Chuanqi The Middle East, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Americas have settled in 14 countries, and initially established a global sales network and service system.

At the North American Auto Show in the beginning of the year, Yu Jun said that he has been preparing for the US market since 2016. He even thinks that the car brand that does not enter the US market cannot be called a truly international brand.

In October 2018, Yu Jun once again emphasized the overseas strategy and gave specific targets – the first phase of overseas sales accounted for 10% of all sales.
