On March 25, BYD Song PLUS DM-i, BYD’s first SUV model equipped with the DM-i super hybrid system, officially ushered in the market. The new car offers a total of four models in two pure electric endurance versions of 51km or 110km. After subsidies, the national unified price is 146,800 to 169,800 yuan.

Song PLUS DM-i is one of the three products equipped with the “DM-i Super Hybrid” system, and it is also the second model of the Super Hybrid series after Qin PLUS DM-i was launched. Song PLUS DM-i adopts the front face design of the eight-faced Dragon Yin. The unique big-mouth grille matches the “dragon beard” shape of the Chinese homology, which forms a clear distinction from the fuel version and the EV version.

In terms of body size, the model has a length, width and height of 4705mm/1890mm/1680mm and a wheelbase of 2765mm. It is positioned as a compact SUV.

The 0-100km/h acceleration time of the Song PLUS DM-i 51km endurance model is 8.5s, and the overall fuel consumption can be as low as 4.4L/100km in the state of power loss. In the 110km version, the maximum pure electric battery life can reach 110km, the full-fuel comprehensive battery life exceeds 1200km, the 0-100km/h acceleration is 7.9s, and the power loss fuel consumption is 4.5L/100km.
