This is the most difficult section of the entire race. You have to climb nearly 1,000 meters and climb over a mountain. Usually there are few people and there is no way to go. About 13:00, the little stone house saved many people
On the way down, Chen Hui found a small stone house on the side of the road. After entering the door, he found that there were already 4 people inside, and he was the fifth.
Outside the house, a member of the Blue Sky Rescue Team stood. This was the only service staff Chen Hui saw in the entire CP2-CP3 section. The team members had been communicating with the walkie-talkie and called other rescuers to come up. Later, they encountered a contestant who was severely hypothermic. In order to avoid the rain, Zhu Keming, a villager of Changsheng Village, hid in his cave at noon. The cave dwelling is between CP2 and CP3 on the race route, with an altitude of about 2,200 meters.
According to the Beijing News, this is an abandoned cave dwelling. The cave is small and measures five or six square meters. Zhu Keming once left a pair of his pants, some firewood, and discarded books here. Later, it was these accidental items that saved six people. Zhu Keming heard that a man’s voice came from outside the cave. He went out and found a man slowly walking outside the cave, embracing his arms. The man was wearing a green T-shirt and said he had a cramp in his leg.

At 1:32 pm, Wang Qinlin received a call from the secretary of the Changsheng Village. Wang Qinlin is the Party Secretary of Hu Ma Shui Village. Changsheng Village and Hu Ma Shui Village are parallel to the bottom of the mountain range and are separated by three kilometers.
The village party secretary of Changsheng Village said that Zhu Keming rescued several contestants from the mountain and needed support.
“Zhu Keming is the son-in-law of our village.” Wang Qinlin said. Later, the villagers in Hu Ma Shui Village saw the news that “the shepherd saved six mountain cross-country racers in a row.” They all said that in the past, “How can a sheep herder be famous!”

16:30 Four people clocked in CP4

Guo Jian and his colleagues began to withdraw to CP4. At about 4:40 in the afternoon, they greeted the organizing committee personnel, blue sky rescue team members at CP4 site, and doctors. They were going up the mountain with supplies. When he returned to CP4 by himself, Guo Jian found that the car was gone, and the driver had gone to pick up the fire officers and soldiers. 17:00 in the dark

Six people in the cave dwelling at 18:00

He drove back to the hotel with his colleagues and the driver. When passing CP5, a woman from the organizing committee stopped their car and said that a female athlete was still running on the track. At CP6, the tents at the site have been removed, leaving only people and cars. People at the site said that the female contestant borrowed a coat from the volunteers, took a few naan, and continued to run.
20:20 A player is still running

Another group of villagers in Humashui Village searched along the banks of the Yellow River, which is the route of the contestants. Rescue has become extremely difficult. There is no longer a soft ground, but a rocky surface with many firewood seedlings.

24:00 Villagers rescue people, cave dwelling vigil
Special police, armed police, and firefighters are not familiar with roads. The locals are the fastest, so the rescue depends on the locals to take everyone up.
At twelve o’clock at noon, 720 ambulancemen went up, and by daybreak, there were 1,000 people coming up. The villagers from Longwan Village and Huhu Mashui Village all went up. The ambulance was waiting at the scene. The last to be saved was a 60-year-old seriously injured player.
