Yan Zuokui said that the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail has become a new engine of economic development. As a major national strategic transportation project and an important part of the “eight vertical and eight horizontal” high-speed rail network, Beijing-Shanghai The high-speed rail links the “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-Shandong-Anhui-Su-Shanghai” four provinces and three cities, and the population along the line accounts for 26.7% of the total population of the country.
