The principle used by Facebook is similar, as is the capture of bioelectrical signals.

Accordingly, the researchers placed an electrode on the surface of the volunteer’s brain that uses a technique called “cerebral cortex electricity” that records the cerebral cortex directly from the exposed surface of the brain.
