Good questions are more important than good answers.

Editor’s note: This article is from WeChat public account “Autumn Uncle” (ID:qiuyedashu), the author Uncle Akiba. The original title “10 questions to figure out, you can make a good time plan for yourself”

I have a question in the Autumn Time Management Training Camp, which has such a problem:Uncle How can we plan working hours?

In fact, this question is not a good answer, because there are too many factors involved, different people, different jobs, different preferences, different stages, may have different results.

But since I asked, I also talked about my understanding.

I propose 10 questions about working time planning. I hope everyone can answer these 10 questions before thinking about planning time.

Question 1:Your working environment, most of your time is your own planning Or is your leadership plan?

If you plan on your own, you have more freedom;

If you are led by a leader, you must first understand the agenda of the leader and work with you to plan.

Why is it difficult for ordinary people to make annual plans because time resources are not in their own hands, they are arranged by leaders. Ordinary people should do [Annual Goal + Monthly Plan]. It is difficult to predict and control a year’s plan unless you are still a student.

But you can do the monthly schedule, see the amount of time you can schedule each month in advance, and find ways to use it on your most important things. Make sure that important things are moving forward every month so that your goals for the year will be realized.

Question 2:You have to figure out whether your job type is process type (more fixed process) or project type work (more sudden) ?

Processing work is monotonous, but it’s also easier to form a rhythmic schedule;

There is a lot of project-type work, but more emphasis should be placed on the use of fragmentation time.

Question 3:Your work habit is to respond to one thing for a while, or can you quickly switch between different things?

Some people are used to doing one thing at a time, and things are more chaotic.

But some people can respond to a few things over a period of time, and can organize different things in tandem.

Different work habits can make a person’s schedule a lot different.

Question 4:Is your job goal clear? Have you got the leadership approval?

People with clear goals, especially those with important goals, must keep their work time as important as possible, and not be distracted.

Specially reminded that your work goal must be the work goal that the leader approves, otherwise it will become your own plan, the leader will not recognize it, and the approval will be deserved.

Question 5:What you want to do every day, leave enough time ?

Many people are afraid of wasting time, often rushing to schedule, and the schedule is very tight and full.

This is actually a problem.

Working must encounter unexpected accidents. It takes time to solve the accident. The essence of the schedule is “assuming that no changes will be encountered”, but this is not scientific, so the remaining work plan is the real plan.

If you encounter a change, you will use the balance to top it. If you don’t encounter any changes, relax more time, or complete the next stage of work ahead of time, and let yourself be loose in the next stage. .

The key is to work hard to make your time a choice.

Question 6:Do you often have an emotion because you don’t want to work?

Many people’s problems are not time management, but they often have to fight their own emotions. This internal time must be set aside, and some things should be arranged to divert their attention and avoid affecting work.

Question 7:How is your daily routine? Sleeping for a few hours a day? Is it regular? Is your energy good?

Remember: Rest is for better progress.

It must be admitted that different people’s energy is different. Some people sleep for 4 hours a day, and some people are not enough to regain energy after sleeping for 8 hours a day.

What should I do? Accept your own physical condition and choose the work arrangement that suits you. Other people are more mad than people.

Question 8:Do you want to be a little rich, or do you want to struggle to do something?

If you are a small rich, you have a loose schedule and leave it to your family and yourself;

If you want to do something, you really can’t give yourself a breathing space, life is too short, you can’t finish it.

Question 9:Are you jealous of yourself? Are you self-disciplined? Do you have procrastination?

People who are not enough for themselves must find a strong leader or team manager, otherwise the plan is the same as paper paste;

There is nothing to say to people who are embarrassed about themselves, pay attention to rest.

Question 10: Have you had a lot of experience in working on a work plan in the past?

Are there any work plans, which means that you have accumulated experience data to complete your work, including understanding the requirements of the work plan. These accumulations are also important for your reasonable planning.

Summary

Only by figuring out all 10 questions, can you make a good time plan for yourself.
