Assert your users

Speaking a lesson is like selling, but selling is not a commodity. On the one hand, you are selling yourself, and on the other hand, you are selling your ideas.

If a class ends, your users can not only remember you, but also remember your ideas, then you are a successful sales.

So before you start your preparation, do one thing and figure out who your customers are.

Now the operation is focused on user stratification. The high school in the TV series “Little Joy” is divided into basic classes, parallel classes and elite classes. Different classes give different teaching goals.

So for different users, the strategy we choose is definitely different.

Take this example of the micro-course I am talking about, which is aimed at college students who are about to graduate.

The next topic, content, and style should be set according to the characteristics of the “college student” group.

We will start to talk about it one by one.

Active selection theme

Then we come step by step, first look at the theme. I think there are two major preconditions for the choice of theme.

First: The theme you choose is what the user needs;

How do you know what kind of course a user needs? Give everyone a small method.

See the public number that your user community often goes to. If a topic has a good reading, then this topic will not be too bad.

This is a class with finding new media.Similarly, if you can’t fully grasp your users, you can’t choose some methods that can be used to help you decide.

Second: The theme you choose is what you are good at;

I think this is the bottom line of a shared person, that is, every knowledge you spread is what you have used and recognized.

You can go somewhere and collect some knowledge points to piece together a seemingly appealing course, “** Entering Over 10,000”, but in essence, you don’t rely on lectures to eat, why bother.

For me, every article, course, is my own summary output, so that your time spent makes sense.

I always remember a previous senior who told me: “You don’t want to write things for writing.”

This time, Netease has set a big theme on it, that is, the series of courses for college students. The theme I chose is from my previous article on data, and the title has not changed. Before the skills, first grasp the data analysis awareness, but the content framework inside is adjusted.

This time I determined the theme of the method is very simple, pick the article that I read the most, and turn the article into a course theme.

I have always had a point of view, that is, to learn to be lazy when doing business, only to learn to be lazy to come up with more efficient methods, such as reusing thinking.

Since the reading of the article is not bad, it proves that your theme is written well, and the readers also love to watch, then this is a theme that users need + you are good at.

1+1+1 content system

The topic has been identified, and then you need to determine your course framework based on the topic.

First give a formula for a course that may not be perfect but is guaranteed not to hit the street:

1 page self-introduction +1 page trust endorsement +1 set content system

We look at each one,

First, take a look at the 1 page of self-introduction. You have to be clear that the purpose of self-introduction is not to introduce, but to let others remember you.

If you don’t remember you after the introduction, your first step may fail, so it’s important to use your mind to let others remember you on the first page.

Here, the strategy I took was to focus on the pen name—the Jianghu knife and give the name a meaning.

This name is not common in the course of the operation. After all, I have come up with this screen name. I feel a bit silly, but if you can, remember it.

In the era of information explosion, attention is everything!

Secondly, look at the 1 page trust endorsement. You have to be clear that the purpose of trusting endorsement is not to brag, let others recognize you.

The difference between the two is still very big, because bragging may be easily diss, causing others to resent, what you need is to let the people who listen to the class feel that you have the ability to bring value to them, they will listen to you. Content.

So back to the user level, which points your users are sensitive to, you need to focus on which points to package.

Or take my own example. In this course, I summed up my three keywords to self-package: University living expenses are self-care – Tianjin is not your job, 12 lights are all bright – three years from 0 to 1 Do a million-level project.

These three keywords are all customized for my audience. First of all, they are college students. My university’s tuition fees are self-care, they are in their current state, they can make them feel, and then they immediately face job hunting, Tianjin. You are a job seeker. 12 lights are all bright. This job search experience is what they are about to face or expect, and graduated from 0 to 1 to do a million-level project for three years. This point is for them.

If you are attending a class for one or two years of graduation, then my college experience and job search experience may not be reflected in it.

Next, we have reached our focus, a set of content systems.

For this set of content systems, the different content is too different, so here are a few principles:

1) Logic

There are many kinds of logic, there are progressive logical relationships, there are parallel logical relationships, and there is a total logical relationship; the specific can be selected according to your specific content.

In short, before giving lectures to others, you need to pass this level first. Why is the content on page 3 this, and why the content on page 5 is placed after page 4.

For example, the logic of the class I shared this time is progressive logic:

2) There are cases

The

method is boring, abstract, and the case is concrete. So I have prepared the corresponding case for each knowledge point to help you understand the application.

I think there are several principles here,

First of all, the case story is interesting. This I mentioned before, it is very interesting to make the knowledge you want to share interesting.

Secondly, the case cannot be separated from reality. Each of my cases has a realistic prototype. Although the data is not all true data, it is actually verified. I think it is the principle that the practitioners in the education industry should have.

3) There are golden sentences

Either writing an article or giving a lecture is the process we output and the process we enter.

One reader asked me if there is a need for a lot of accumulation in my own methodology.

The formation of his own methodology, on the one hand, benefits from his own work experience, on the other hand, the wisdom of others that we see. So what we do is not all innovation, nor imitation plagiarism, but the direction of finding ourselves on the shoulders of giants.

Slowly, you will be careful about the little things in your work, and be structured and integrated. In the end, we can explain our views in a sentence that is easy to remember and form our own golden sentence.

4) Multi-summary

Secondly, in the process of speaking, each time we finish a part, we will summarize the previous ones. For example, after the second part, after the third part, we will come to one sentence: “The course is now, we will first talk about The direction indicator in the operation work is data. In fact, we also talked about the three stages of data application: *****, then the 2 acceleration packages in our data application.

When you finish the third part, repeat the summary. In this way, the audience can penetrate the knowledge points and grasp the whole curriculum.

First say two big principles: there is logic; there are primary and secondary.

Form your own style

This is not necessaryBut it is what I like, so the next content is mainly based on my own course.

1. Easy to remember names

This has already been mentioned before, my pen name “Jianghu knife”, it sounds a bit silly and different.

But a simple name is not enough to set up your people. In order to deepen my “river and lake atmosphere”, the contents of this analysis are integrated into the “features of the rivers and lakes.”

2. Featured content description

The profoundness of Chinese culture lies in the fact that we can have many different opinions about the same thing.

• Use the metaphor

In ancient times, walking a river and lake had to have a sword of its own, which is the foundation of life.

The corresponding most important for operations is data, which is the direction of operation.

I compared the application of data in operations to the application of swords in rivers and lakes.

How do you use data to help your own operations?

I have compared the three stages of data application to the three stages of growth of the ancient swordsman sword-sword-self-defense.

Of course, if there is no such metaphor, the content is also established, but there are some characteristics of “the rivers and lakes knife”.

• Get a good name

This means that you should be good at giving yourself conclusions that you can’t easily draw, and take your own representative name and put this theory on your own chapter.

Give a chestnut, there is a “seven-step theory” in sharing, which is the seven steps of data analysis.

And I defined this step as “the knife-like seven-step method”, which will make this original dry goods without any special dry goods.

There are many steps in data analysis, many people are saying. But the knife-style seven-step method is one, it is a small knife.

• Good at expressing

This statement means having your own cognition. Although you may be talking about a small point of knowledge, you should consider how to incorporate your own knowledge into your knowledge.

My entire curriculum is rooted in my own understanding – my perception of the curriculum and methodology.

This is a different point from my other courses. It is also a true portrayal of my heart. After reading this course, it is impossible to immediately change the salary and realize the change. In 40 minutes, a movie can’t be finished.

A lot of people say that an article can add tens of thousands of dollars at a cost. One course can make you monthly money. I don’t believe it. We must correctly understand this thing.

Every article, every course we read, 90% of the cases, should not be the details but the thinking.

The premise of the statement is that the existing knowledge system and its own practical experience are combined to form their own cognition.

There are a lot of things that are right or wrong. For example, do you think the education industry should be online? Do you think that Fan Deng’s reading club can really help people master the knowledge? What do you think is the operation? What is the most important thing in the operation?

Everyone has their own opinions on these issues, and what you think is not important. What matters is that you have your own opinions.

I think what we need here is consciousness. You have to design different styles for different users. It means that many things are essentially unchanged, but you can win different effects by changing the way you express them.

2, find the topic: find topics that you are good at and interested in users

This is personally, I think that “good at” is more important than “user interest”. When you appear as a sharer, you are a “propagating” identity.

This identity, I can’t guarantee that I am certain of the most appropriate and useful, but I want to make sure that I output what I have verified, the part I know best.

Especially, I don’t rely on this meal, so don’t worry too much about traffic.

4, form your own style

Many people may find it difficult to find their own characteristics.

A lot of people will think that “the rivers and lakes are very stupid””, but I believe that some will say: Hey, this little knife teacher is quite interesting.
