A citizen asked on the official website of the Lishui District Government of Nanjing on March 11, “It has been two years since March 2020, and Baoneng is under the Lishui Station of the Airport New City. The Health City plot is still a wasteland, and there were advertising fences before, but now the fences have been removed, is the Baoneng Health City project still launched? When will it be launched? What is the current progress?”
Nanjing Lishui District Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee replied on March 12, “In March 2020, Lishui Development Zone and Baoneng Group formally signed the Nanjing International Health City project agreement. During the process, the investor Baoneng Group encountered changes in its internal investment strategy and was affected by the regulation of real estate policies, and the investor has terminated the investment plan for the Lishui Airport New Town. The plot is actively connecting with relevant resources and will be announced to the public after the partners are confirmed.”
As early as March 6, 2020, the website of the People’s Government of Lishui District, Nanjing announced that Baoneng Group signed an agreement with Lishui Development Zone, with a total investment of 18.4 billion yuan for Nanjing International Health Two major projects, Science and Technology City and Baoneng East China Smart Supply Chain Linkong Industrial Park, have settled in the park. Among them, the Nanjing International Health Science and Technology City project is located in Konggang New City, Lishui Economic Development Zone. With an investment of about 16 billion yuan, it is expected to provide more than 10,000 direct jobs after completion, and is expected to become a new urban landmark of healthy Lishui. Baoneng East China Smart Supply Chain Linkong Industrial Park project will build Baoneng Auto Parts Centralized Procurement Center, Cold Chain Supply Chain Center, Cross-border E-commerce Center, Large Retail Supply Chain Center, and Baoneng Aviation Comprehensive Service Center. The total investment is 2.4 billion yuan, and it is expected to achieve an annual sales income of 14 billion yuan and an annual tax of 210 million yuan after it is completed and put into operation.
Yao Zhenhua, the actual controller of Baoneng, who encountered liquidity problems, previously announced that the company is selling assets of 100 billion yuan, including the Shenzhen headquarters of Baoneng Group, to return funds.
According to the disclosure of Baoneng Group in October 2021, 8In terms of key special assets, Baoneng Group is launching the sale of its headquarters in Shenzhen Baoneng Center, old renovation projects, high-quality projects in Qianhai, and asset package projects in logistics parks in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. The above projects involve commercial properties, land, commercial complexes, old renovations and equity in high-quality financial companies, etc., with an estimated value of over 100 billion yuan. Baoneng Group expects to repay about 20 billion yuan within 3-4 months. Baoneng Group said in the announcement that a certain project has been signed; other projects are in the signing stage, and are in close negotiation or looking for interested parties.
But so far there is no public news that Baoneng has completed the sale of the above-mentioned projects.
