CCTV News reported on April 14 that at about 13:00 on the same day, the trucks parked at Cuipingshan Station of the Daqin Railway (located in Jizhou District, Tianjin) slipped and collided with the running freight train, causing 17 trucks to go off the line. 11 of them fell under the railway bridge, causing the Daqin Railway to stop running. No casualties were reported.
The railway department dispatched 6 rescue trains and nearly 1,000 staff to the scene, carried out rescue work from both ends of the truck, relieved the vehicles in the section, and carried out rescue operations on the off-line vehicles. It is understood that the accident occurred at a distance of 413 kilometers and 600 meters from the Daqin Railway. At that time, a train loaded with coal was on the viaduct. Two trains collided and several carriages derailed. fell under the bridge. These two trains are freight trains and do not carry passengers.
A witness at the scene said that the area near the accident site was a demolition area, and there were not many residents living there.
Daqin Railway, also known as “Daqin Line”, is affiliated to Daqin Railway Co., Ltd. (Daqin Railway, 601006), and the actual controller is China National Railway Group Co., Ltd.
