After carefully look at the phone you are holding, how long have you been using it? Looking for a new machine?

In the past September, the mobile phone circle was particularly lively. First, Apple and OPPO released the annual flagship products iPhone 11 series and OPPO Reno 2 respectively, followed by Xiaomi’s first large-scale production of 5G mobile phone Xiaomi 9 Pro. And the concept machine Xiaomi MIX Alpha, and finally Huawei launched the Mate 30 series.

Companies are rushing to new machines, but consumers seem to be getting harder to please. Gartner’s latest report shows that after years of growth, the smartphone market has come to a turning point. Sales of smartphones will fall by 3.2% in 2019, the largest drop in this type of device ever.

Some of the mobile phones have gone to the stage, and some have left. Yu Chengdong’s press conference did not mention Xiaomi, and strived to “dry the apple”; Lei Junbei floated for 9 years and finally bought the building, and closed the mouth to talk about the price/performance ratio; Lu Weibing took the red rice to advertise on Weibo crazy; 怼Huawei; Huang Zhang and Li Nanxi’s cherished story no longer exist; “Red Cardinal” Zhou Hongyi temporarily bid farewell to the mobile phone circle; Cook finally gave the fruit powder with 18W fast charge; want to buy Luo’s mobile phone to make a friend, but I can’t wait for a new cross talk.

The story of technology giants has become a joke after people have had a meal, but the infighting between manufacturers is quietly changing the user’s perception of mobile phones. The 5G commercial year has arrived. In this new and old era, what should mobile phone manufacturers fight next year? Will you change your phone in 2020?

5G is no longer a label for high-end phones

5G is one of the most inaccessible topics in the mobile phone industry in 2020.

On June 6, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially issued 5G commercial licenses to the three major operators and China Radio and Television, and China 5G entered the commercial year. Mobile phone manufacturers such as Huawei, Xiaomi and OV also officially launched the “arms race” on 5G.

At the end of September, Xiaomi and Huawei launched the 5G mobile phone Xiaomi 9 Pro and the Huawei Mate 30 series. According to incomplete statistics, as of September 27, the price of mainstream 5G mobile phones listed in China (including reservations) is concentrated at 4,000-7,000 yuan.
