Good morning, my classmates, I am Liang Ning.

In 1995, I entered Lenovo and experienced the popularity of computers in China and the rise of Lenovo. After participating in a national key project and doing Chinese chips and operating systems, I experienced an unforgettable failure; later Also set up a tourism website to sell the company to Tencent.

In the past few years, I have written articles to review the ups and downs of these industries that I have experienced, to analyze the gains and losses and the outcomes. Therefore, I was invited by Teacher Luo Zhenyu to get two courses on Product Thinking and Growth Thinking. .

Today, I can come here to meet everyone. It can be said that it took me 25 years to come to you.

First, success is not done, it is alive

1. It’s not going to be difficult for 1981, it’s useless to give you a scripture

If I divide my own life into three phases, then:

• The first stage, is the “stupid white” stage from birth until departure from Lenovo;

• The second stage, is that I left Lenovo, and I went to the rivers and lakes with great enthusiasm, and then I was crushed into slag by reality. I called this stage my “into the stage”. I have been in this dilemma for 10 years;

• The third stage, is from the beginning of my writing to the present, let me call it the “normal heart” stage.

I said in the class of Growth Thinking that the wound is the organ of the day after tomorrow.

The most sensitive place for a person is the wound. If a person sees the same thing and feels pain, it must be because he is hurt in that kind of thing.

The following is a story about “Journey to the West” to see if you hurt or not.

When Tang Hao arrived at Xitian, he suddenly discovered that, in fact, he had always been alone in the path of learning. There was no Sun Wukong, no pigs and no bells, no sand monk, all the characters were his fantasy to accompany himself. another me.

Sun Wukong is the one who is fearless, never convinced, and finds solutions to problems in heaven and earth;

Pig Ba Jie is his true human nature, who will be afraid, will retreat, and will want to relax a little;

Sha monk, more interesting, in the long road of entrepreneurship, you feel that you are Sun Wukong, but in the eyes of others, you are a sand monk: a special qualification, only boring his head, squatting himself The heavy burden, the stupid guy who walks forward step by step.

Own ability level is just a sand monk, but the inner part of the mind wants to prove that he is a Sun Wukong, so regardless of the objective conditions, the old want to do the things of Sun Wukong, this is the entrance.

Into the shackles, is to refuse to recognize the objective reality, lost the normal heart.

At that time, Li Hesheng (note man note: famous investor) pointed me over. He saw that I really loved my face. If I wanted to succeed, I taught me a secret:

“Do something that makes you feel ashamed. If you persist for 5 years, you will succeed.”

He explained: “A person like us who is pretentious, hard and frustrated can bear, the most unbearable is shame. If you want to upgrade your ability, you will face what you fear the most. “

At that time, I just started my business. All the movements were to get the approval and praise of others. I also have a variety of ideas, and there are many people and things that I can’t understand.” .

This is what I said in “Growth Thinking”. When my interpersonal capacity is so thin, I can only work with a small number of people, and the company is like holding a small flower pot and planting a few flowers that I like. It is impossible to have scale, and how can it be worthy of everyone who believes in me? So I was so painful that I began to feel ashamed in doing things.

Left is my concept of cleanliness, rejection of the world; the right side is not to scale, shame to everyone. I was squeezed in the middle, and the wounds in my heart were probably left by such collisions.

I don’t miss the stupid, sweet, clean, woundless self. It is because of these wounds that it has become me today.

Soon Wukong clearly can go to Xitian with a cloud, but why should Tang Yan walk with her own body, step by step, and nine hundred and eighty-one?

Because, the scriptures of the scriptures are the passages of the scriptures.

It’s not difficult to go through the nine hundred and eighty-one, give you a scripture, give you a frame of thinking, and you don’t feel it.

So my wound is the scripture I received.

The end of “Journey to the West”, Tang Yan stood in the West, came to the Buddha in front of the Buddha; and I, honestly face the things I am afraid of.

2. Success is not done, it is alive

I finally accepted the reality honestly: I am an ordinary person, all my companions are like ordinary people, I am ordinary people; I don’t need to pack my own elite to make myself courageous;

What I do is because others happen to have a certain kind of demand, but the experience is not so much, so I use my own accumulation to seriously help people to do things well, it is as simple as that.

I have nothing to prove. If I can really help you, I will be very happy. I will help you today. More people will come to me for help tomorrow. My professionalism will be further accumulated. I can help more people – this is my growth flywheel.

My life, this is what it is, in the interaction with the world, to cycle and grow.

I feel that I am not a mortal. I must do something to prove myself. This is of course wrong.

Because life is not a proof at all.

When I turned to Journey to the West, I saw my own changes.

Young boy, the most empathy is Sun Wukong, the guy who has the ability and the heart is higher than the sky, but has no place to put it;

Today, I agree with Tang Yan, a mortal who can’t even beat the monk, but he has a mission and has a persistent attachment.

He said: I am a follower. Along the way, he cried, despaired, weak, and pleaded, but never said “We give up, I will not do this.”

So he goes all the way west, the mountains and the desert can’t stop, the gods of the sky will come to help.

So, the westbound all the way, the most powerful, not Wukong, is Tang Yan; eventually they are reborn, not a skill, is a mission.

This is what I want to share with you today: success is not done, it is alive.

What makes you truly perceive the world is not the knowledge in books, but the wounds that you collide with the real world. This is your truth.

Let you be strong enough to summon the gods and make you reborn, not a skill, but your mission.

3. How to use your own life?

The word mission is how you use your life.

Tang Yun this life, is to give to the Western Heaven to learn: take the person, die on the way to get through, get what it is. Therefore, he does not look back, has been moving forward, walking through the alpine desert, taking the scriptures, translating the scriptures, and speaking the scriptures. He is thus making his life so that he can live his life. This is the living method he chose.

In “Growth Thinking,” I repeatedly said one sentence: the war ended with one party losing the will to fight.

Abandoning is just a matter of thought, how easy it is to give up. What kind of people can always maintain the will to fight?

In the past 25 years, there have been new opportunities every year, and every year there are new upstarts in the competition.

A lot of people succeeded in the first year, I asked him why he succeeded. He told me a lot of logic. It seems that Sun Wukong learned the martial arts and the first battle was as good as it was.

But if he goes to the 10th, 15th, and 20th years, I will ask again, why are you successful, he often can’t tell any specific business logic, can only tell me these years, How did he survive?

If you are struggling to fight, you will hope that the war will end soon and return to life;

But if this is your life itself, you will be willing to do it day after day, you will never lose the will to fight.

I think, you should be like me, we are all wounded. So you can definitely understand:

A short-term effort, maybe everyone can, but the difference between the winners is that you are willing to work hard day after day.

I am an ordinary person, but I found that I also have my own mission. My mission is to tell the story of China’s innovation.

The general secretary said that he would tell the Chinese story well. And I only hope that I can continue to tell the stories that have happened in the community of innovators and that I have explored. This life is enough.

The rational part is rationality, and the unreasonable part is human nature.

The past textbooks and business reports are all taking the rational part of one thing out for you, but if you follow it completely, the great probability will fail. why?

Because what you have learned in the textbook is rationality, but all things to deal with when doing things are human nature, including the need to place your own humanity.

Once, I had lunch at a restaurant on the edge of the Third Ring Road in Beijing. I found that there were very few guests in the restaurant and the boss was idle.

I asked: “Boss, why are there not many guests who eat at noon?”

The boss said: “I seriously pondered, I think there are two main reasons – first, this is the third ring side, there are many cars, but the people who drive are not often stopped here; second, nearby As far as my restaurant is concerned, restaurants generally wantGet together and live well. You look at the street, a bunch of restaurants are open together, everyone goes directly there, this one does not make it to another.

A year later, I went to this restaurant again for lunch, and the guests had a long queue. As soon as I saw it, the boss changed.

After dinner, I went to the new boss to chat: “Boss, how is your business so good?”

The new boss said: “I think, first, this is the third ring, there are more cars. Second, there is only one of my restaurants nearby.”

Do you often do this in life? The same position, the same opportunity, or even the same key logic, but the decision to success or failure is not only how you grasp the rationality, but also how you put humanity.

At the same time, to explore rationality and humanity in business is what I do. This is what I will continue to explore and hope to continue to deliver to you when I am doing Product Thinking, Growth Thinking, and future content.

I hope that my content will not only let you know a few business terms, a few thinking frameworks, but also give you a humanized perspective, and have a sense of temperature and flesh and blood to perceive our generation of Chinese innovation.
