According to Zinc Finance, on October 31, Gree Electric released the third quarterly report for 2019. Data show that in the first three quarters of 2019, Gree’s revenue was 155.39 billion yuan, up 4.26% year-on-year; net profit was 22.117 billion yuan, up 4.73% year-on-year.
In the single quarter, Gree’s revenue in the third quarter was 57.742 billion yuan, up 0.03% year-on-year; net profit was 8.367 billion yuan, up 0.66% year-on-year; and net profit after deducting was 8.172 billion yuan, down 6.21% year-on-year. .
The revenue and net profit growth both fell below single digits. For Gree, such data is still the first in recent years. According to Caixin.com, in the first half of 2018, Gree’s revenue and net profit growth rate were 31.50% and 35.48%, respectively. In the first half of 2017, these two figures exceeded 40%.
This also means that Dong Mingzhu, who won the billion-dollar gamble with Lei Jun, may have to lose his mind. At the general meeting of shareholders at the beginning of the year, Dong Mingzhu once vowed that Gree can still maintain a growth rate of more than 10% every year.
