At the infrastructure level, China has a physical site number of 3 million+, accounting for 46% of the world. At the policy level, this year China has issued four 5G licenses, allocating 600MHz 5G spectrum, and more than 20 local governments have introduced market-oriented measures to support 5G development, such as opening public resources for 5G sites, etc. .
Consumers also need a higher quality network. The average monthly flow of eMBB in China is as high as 10 billion GB, which has more than doubled in the past year. In dense urban areas, 4G networks are already congested, and 5G networks are needed to provide higher quality connections. First, China has the conditions to make 5G the best 5G in the world.
China is the best in the world in terms of spectrum resources, number of base station sites and construction capabilities, consumer perceptions and needs, industry and corporate participation, and government support. At the same time, China has the most complete terminal industry chain and the world’s leading 5G technology, and Chinese companies account for more than 50% of global smartphone shipments. As long as we make the most of these advantages, we can make the best 5G in the world.
Second, the world is sharing the dividends brought about by China’s 5G development.
The issuance and large-scale construction of China’s 5G licenses have boosted the demand for 5G network equipment worldwide, effectively promoting the common development of network equipment providers in China, Europe and the world. At the same time, it also boosted the demand for upstream semiconductors, which prompted the global semiconductor industry to return to stable growth in the third quarter of 2019, and the equipment manufacturing industry also benefited.
5G drives consumers’ demand for replacement, driving the growth of the entire terminal industry chain. It is estimated that China’s 5G users will exceed 200 million in 2020. At the same time, 5G promotes application innovation and development, such as high-definition video, AR/VR, cloud games, cloud computers, etc., bringing OTT enterprise innovation and growth opportunities. Those who believe that the 5G base station and the 5G core network are inseparable and not independent of each other are ulterior motives.

The introduction of each generation of mobile technology has been controversial, distressed, and entangled. For this reason, we have tried to find a killer application, and the historical proof has little meaning. At the same time, we must realize that the development of 5G for the Internet of Things needs to be gradual.
