On November 28, the 2019 COFCO Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in COFCO Plaza in Beijing. The competition was co-sponsored by COFCO, China Agricultural University and Tencent Group. The Shuangchuang Contest has two groups, the “Social Group” and the “Campus Group”. A total of 20 projects were shortlisted for the city station roadshow, covering agriculture, grain and oil, food, biomedical and other fields.
After the roadshow evaluation, the selected companies in the social group are Excellent Food, Huajia Yunhai, and Qunfeng Nayuan. The selected items of the Campus Group are Behizil, Zhongnong Life Life Campus Dairy, and Goody Potato Chips. The above 6 groups of project companies will participate in the finals of the 2019 COFCO Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in December.

Social group:
1. Yunyang Data
Yunyang Data is an agricultural big data IoT service provider. It is committed to the research and development of intelligent agricultural information modernization and intelligent mechanical equipment. The IoT system and intelligent equipment product solutions are mainly used in greenhouse cultivation agriculture, facility agriculture, and precision Agriculture, flower greenhouses, high-end agricultural greenhouses, leisure agricultural greenhouses, high-end tea planting, fisheries and other fields. Yunyang Data is headquartered in Beijing Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, and has R & D and production bases in Beijing, Wuhan, Wuxi, Shandong, and Yunnan. In February of this year, the company completed an angel round of ten million yuan, and the investor set sail for Jiazi.
Specifically, Yunyang Data collects environmental data and crop growth data through sensors, such as temperature and humidity, light, crop fruit stem circumference, crop height, etc., aggregates the data to the intelligent gateway device for edge computing and uploads it. Big data cloud platform, based on these data, can do online monitoring, planting management, and traceability of agricultural products.
Founder and CEO Zhao Hongqi is an EMBA from Peking University. He has 15 years of experience in the communications industry. He has served communications equipment R & D companies such as Huawei and Datang, and has experience in managing large projects and teams. Yan Feng, co-founder and CTO, holds a master’s degree in computer science from China Ship Research Institute and a master’s degree in Guanghua EMBA from Peking University.
