Sony There were many surprises at CES this year. Although the whole new product launch conference, Kenichiro Yoshida only took 30 minutes to give a speech, the shiny debut of “Sony Car” has become the highlight of this year’s CES. One of the products.

But the highlights on Sony ’s booth are actually not only “Sony cars”, but also TVs that are full of the audience. This year Sony updated the two LED and OLED TVs Z8H / A8H, and also brought X9500H and X9000H. Updates to two mid- to high-end 4K TVs.

After the CES conference, Sony introduced me to these four products, and I also made a close comparison experience. In short, the four new product updates this year can be said to have their own advantages, from picture quality, sound effects, and configuration have different changes:

Z8H : Provide 8K resolution, add “border sound” technology;
A8H: Equipped with X1 flagship processing chip, adding sharp dynamic technology and lower subwoofer;
X9500H: Increased the wide-angle viewing angle technology for all series sizes, and increased full-array backlight;
X9000H: Add full array backlight.

“The Z9G can’t fit in the living room. Why not consider Z8H?”

This year Z8H is mainly around sizeThere are two upgrades in audio and audio. From the appearance alone, you may find that this product has a lot of Z9G shadows, including immersive design metal frame, metal bracket, 8K LED panel and so on.

But compared to the Z9G’s 85-inch starting panel size, the Z8H is also relatively flexible and offers smaller 75-inch starting sizes and 85-inch sizes.

If the Z9G was too large to board the TV cabinet before, try the 75-inch Z8H.

The Z8H on the stand uses a base bracket similar to the “H” structure, but actually in today ’s Demo experience, the designer told me that these two brackets can be removed and installed in the center of the TV, Non-equal-length TV cabinets can also put the Z8H on it.

But compared to design, I’m more curious about the new “border sound” technology. We have seen “screen sound field” with screen sound in Sony OLED products such as A9G before.

This time, even the LED Z8H has a sound-producing technology similar to this screen, which is a technological breakthrough in LED TVs.

The principle of “border sound” is a bit similar to “screen sound field”, but it is not full. The place is like the speaker unit is hidden in the back of the screen, the difference is that the frame sound is based on the principle of tweeter and frame vibration.

In the Z8H, Sony has one unit on each side of the panel and a woofer at the bottom of the panel. These speakers work at the same time, and finally bring a more three-dimensional sound effect than the previous low speakers.
