The reporter learned from the Ministry of Commerce on May 8 that in order to actively cope with the impact of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic, and help foreign trade companies to explore the market and overcome difficulties, the Ministry of Commerce decided not to charge companies for exhibition fees during the 127th Canton Fair online. No fees are charged to cross-border e-commerce platforms participating in simultaneous activities.

The 127th Canton Fair will be held online from June 15 to 24. According to the relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Commerce, in recent years, due to various factors such as weak foreign demand, foreign trade companies have faced increased difficulties. The company’s booth fee has accumulated a reduction of over 2 billion yuan for enterprises. During the online session of the Canton Fair, in addition to the value-added service fees such as voluntary advertising, the participation fee will be waived. This is a pragmatic measure to increase the stability of enterprises to secure employment and go all out to stabilize foreign trade.
