Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, May 26. China State Shipbuilding Corporation officially released the marine dual-fuel low-speed engine WinGD X92DF to the world on the 26th. This is currently the world’s largest marine dual-fuel low-speed engine, marking the strengthening of China’s nautical “heart” and a more complete industrial chain.

WinGD X92DF was independently developed by Winterthur Engine Co., Ltd. (WinGD), a subsidiary of China Shipping, built by Shanghai CSSC Mitsui Shipbuilding Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. The company guarantees that the successful development of this model is a major breakthrough made by China in the field of marine power.

WinGD X92DF integrates ultra-high power, intelligent control, green environment protection, and leads the world’s same type engine with excellent performance and emission index. This type of low-speed engine uses the Alto cycle principle and low-pressure gas inlet technology in gas mode to meet the most stringent IMO Tier III emission standards. The remote intelligent monitoring platform equipped with this model achieves remote support through effective pre-judgment, providing a more professional, intelligent, convenient, efficient and reliable user experience for its operation and maintenance.

The conference will be held in video format, and will be held simultaneously by remote connections in Beijing, Marseille, Paris, Shanghai and Winterthur.
