In addition, as of March 2 this year, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council of China accepts applications from relevant Chinese enterprises, and will be eligible for compliance with the marketability and commercialization principles. Procurement of imported goods will no longer impose China’s countermeasures against the US 301 measures within a certain period.

The Shanghai Customs quickly implemented the tariff policy, and the Pudong Chamber of Commerce and the Shanghai Poster Customs Association increased policy promotion and guidance for more than 1,400 companies that can apply the “US-Canada tariff exclusion policy” Intensive efforts to provide “one-to-one” policy guidance to more than 200 key enterprises to help local enterprises accurately.

As of the end of April, the Shanghai Customs District has enjoyed about 26,000 customs declarations with market-based procurement exclusion policies, involving about 3,100 enterprises and saving about 827 million yuan in customs duties. Taking pork and beef as an example, enjoying the market-based procurement exclusion policy saves companies about 110 million yuan in tariffs, helping to ensure stable prices for pork and beef supplies.
