Space X succeeded in manned flying, and founder Elon Musk (also Tesla CEO) was overjoyed, and may have a bit of trouble. The Tesla Super Battery Conference has been postponed several times, and competitors have been the first to release “hard core” battery products.

A few days ago, Great Wall Motor’s Honeycomb Energy released two power battery products online: 115Ah batteries and L6 thin cobalt-free long batteries. On the basis of the new battery, it can achieve a vehicle mileage of more than 800 kilometers, and the battery life can be extended to 15 years or 1.2 million kilometers.

The Ningde era also brews magnificent moves. On June 8, Zeng Yuqun, chairman of Ningde Times, said in an interview with Bloomberg News that the company is preparing to produce batteries that can run for 16 years and can drive electric vehicles for 2 million kilometers. The cost of this new battery is only about 10% higher than the batteries on the market today. Zeng Yuqun revealed, “If an enterprise places an order, we can immediately put it into production.”

“Life span exceeding one million kilometers” will no longer be the exclusive label of Tesla Super Battery.

Earlier, BYD’s self-developed blade battery, compared with the original battery system, the cost is expected to be reduced by 20%-30%; GAC Group’s graphene battery will move from the laboratory to the actual car in just 8 minutes. Charge the battery to 85%; Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi invests in cobalt-free solid-state batteries that will be launched in 2025.
