In the beginning, as an art teacher in a public school, I encountered various “hidden rules”.
Art classes in public schools are not taken seriously. I often want to substitute computer classes and help other teachers with courseware. In the occasional art class, I also talked about Van Gogh on the top, and students wrote math homework below.
After 4 years of suffering, I resigned from a public school and went to a children’s art institution to teach painting.
The result came only to realize that the organization could not realize my ideal. Most private art institutions are very profitable, and their bosses don’t understand art and just want to make money.
