Wen has no first place and Wu has no second place. The No. 1 in Wu Ke is roughly understandable. He knocked everyone down and stood still, even if he won the final victory. What about the champions in liberal arts? Those who enter the palace exam are all masters. Among thousands of beautiful articles, how do you distinguish between gold, silver and bronze awards? Some people prefer plums, some love chrysanthemums, and the superiority of an article is often unique, and some If you give a percentage, someone might give you a zero. The liberal arts discipline is really unscientific if you think about it, but how did the champion come about? After reading the story of the champion in Zhang Jian, I have a lot of questions about the so-called champion and the first prize. With respect in his heart, he loses three points, not too much.
Zhang Jian’s genius is not very good, but his hard-working spirit can be used as an inspirational textbook. When I was 16 years old, I went to the county to test talents and ranked outside the 100. The teacher sneered and said: “If a thousand people take the test, and only one person will not take it, who is that person? The person is you!” I don’t know whether his teacher used the violent general method or really looked down upon him. Zhang Jian heard this and knew his shame was almost brave. From then on, he was on the window pane and the mosquito net. On the bedside table and on the ceiling, the five words “Nine Hundred and Ninety-Nine” are written all over the bookstore, and they are determined to read. It is stipulated that he must light two candles every night before he can fall asleep; in order to prevent drowsiness, he hit two bamboo nails on the bedside, and the braids were tied to the nails. When sleep came, his hair would pull him up. There were a lot of mosquitoes. He filled two earthen jars with water and put his feet into them. The feet were soaked like swelling, like fermented noodles. He didn’t care, and worked hard.
Zhang Jian’s hard study is of course related to the champion, but it is not an inevitable cause and effect. Very hard work may not necessarily be the champion, Zhang Jian champion and the first, study hard is a major cause and effect, the relationship is a greater cause and effect.
Zhang Jian is a native of Jiangsu. At that time, Jiangsu had two powerful officials in the Qing court. One was Weng Tongsu and the other was Pan Zuyin. Their sectarian and fellow-mindedness were the strongest. They wanted to get a top spot in Jiangsu and saw Zhang Jian studying hard. The essay skills are also very decent. After several consecutive times, I tried to find ways to work behind the scenes. I wanted to mention Zhang Jian as the champion. But several mistakes made the champion miss and gave it to others.
In 1889, Zhang Jian took part in the examination. Pan Zuyin was the examiner. The chief examiner searched through thousands of papers and found a paper. From the argumentation routine to the style of writing, he repeatedly considered and couldn’t make up his mind. Pan showed the paper to Weng Tongsu. Weng felt a little bit different. “The first two games are good, but the five strategies seem to be a little shorter.” A man named Wang next to him said that Zhang Jian had a cold at the last exam that day. Maybe it was. He is ill and composing, so he writes in a hurry. Pan and Weng thought for a while and thought it was possible, so they decided that this was Zhang Jian’s and decided it was the top pick. When it came to Kaifeng, it was miscalculated. The paper was not Zhang Jian’s, but Liu Baozhen’s. Master Pan sighed with anger, and Liu came to worship his teacher specially. Master Pan simply hid and saw no one.
In 1892, it was the time of the examination. The examiner Weng Tongfang had appointed Zhang Jian as the champion. After the examination, the question was how toFind Zhang Jian’s test paper in the sealed paper. Weng specifically asked the readers to find out. There is the house officer Yuan, and we found a better one. Weng Tongsu gathered “his own people” to study and judge together, and the judges were judged. They did not feel like Zhang Jian’s. It was rejected; another house official named Shi Jiyun took out another test paper, and everyone studied it together. Some said that this must be Zhang Jian’s, but Weng Tongsu rejected it. He said that this article has a leap in style, unlike Zhang Jian, and However, Shi Jiyun found a sentence from the paper: “Like the seal of Jizi”, he believed that this was Zhang Jian, because Zhang Jian had been to North Korea and participated in quelling the North Korean rebellion. North Korea is known as Jizi and has never been to North Korea. Where would people call Jizijizi? This makes sense. Therefore, these examiners, assistant examiners and scoring teachers, judged this paper containing the sentence “Like Jizi” as the top pick. As soon as the result came out, everyone was dumbfounded. What kind of Zhang Jian was, and Tao Duanyi chose the cheapest.
In the year of Cixi’s 60th birthday, that is, in 1894, a special kind of scientific expedition was conducted. Zhang Jian didn’t want to take the examination this time, but his old father, Tyrant Man, asked him to go. He said to Zhang Jian, “Er. Sincerely bitter, but he is still young, so I can give it a try.” Zhang Jian is said to be very filial and listens to his father’s words. He went and finally won the champion. Of course, among the champions this time, Zhang Jian’s article is the bottom line, but the effort is also outside the article. This time the chief examiner is still Weng Tongluhe. Fortunately, Weng Tongsu didn’t lose sight this time, and found one from thousands of test papers, “The writing is very old, the words are elegant, and the hands are very handy!” He was the first. This time it was finally right.
Actually, there is a story behind Zhang Jian’s story of the champion.
After Zhang Jian finished the exam, he walked out of the examination room. An invigilator named Huang Siyong came to collect the papers. Huang and Zhang Jian were also old acquaintances. The Huang family knew that Zhang Jian was behind Weng Tonghe and Pan Zuyin. Therefore, Huang looked specifically at Zhang Jian’s paper, “Zhang Jiao took out the paper, and Huang Zhan read the paper” and found that there were problems: First, Zhang Jian neglected to change the paper himself. He dug out the paper but forgot to fill it up. Huang gave it up; second, the flattery in the article was not in place, and there was an “en” at the top of the article. Who gave this “en”? Empress Dowager Cixi, Huang hastily put the word “en” before the word Added the word “Holy”. “After the completion, I will send Uncle Weng to the country for review, and know that Zhang is a student who is highly appreciated by Weng.” And if there is no such Huang clan, “If this volume does not meet Huang Jun, it will be placed at the end of the top three.” Jun Chengquan, “With this, Zhang Sui and Kui the world”.
