Do you know how difficult it is to make your mobile phone screen bigger?

In the past nearly 20 years, mobile phone engineers all over the world have stepped forward and promoted a technological revolution belonging to the screen. And every ordinary person of us, although we have witnessed the technological wave of mobile phone screens becoming bigger, they probably never knew the difficulties.

So, how much effort does it take every time the screen wants to be bigger?

When the early-generation iPhone was released in 2007, Jobs said that the reason why the phones on the market were rotten was because of the keyboard under the screen.

Actually, it was not Apple who wanted to remove the keyboard and leave more room on the screen. IBM in the 1990s, Nokia and Motorola after 2000, these giants all launched many touch-screen mobile phones, but they did not become mainstream.

The slider phones, which were all the rage at the time, can be regarded as a compromise between expanding the screen and retaining the keyboard. Then why didn’t touch-screen phones become popular before the iPhone was released?
